"Self Portrait"Autobiography
Hello, my name is Rachel. I am a high school student. I am enrolled in all honors courses. I am a swimmer for my high school and for many other teams. One day I hope to go to Clemson University and get a 4 year degree and then go back for my masters when I get into my career and settled. I started art when in was in Elementary school.
When I was younger I wasn't outgoing at all. I was really shy and always hid behind my parents legs when someone would talk to me. When I got into 2nd grade my teacher started to work with and got me out of my shell. Now I am outgoing, adventurous, and loud. A lot of people do not believe me when I tell them I used to be really shy when I was younger. Since then I am not shy anymore.
Since I was 10 years old I have been swimming. Swimming is my favorite sport. I love to swim in competitions because I love the challenge of swimming against people faster than me. It gives me a boost to make me swim faster each time. I essentially love challenges that push me to be better each time.
Mission Statement
I think art is more than just picking up a pencil and drawing whatever comes to mind. You have to have a feeling or a purpose to make real art and its the same with music. I like to listen to country and pop music. I like action and just movies that are fast pace and funny. I love fashion and the way people come up with there ideas and colors. J.Crew is one of my favorite store to shop at because I like to think of how the designer came up with those idea to turn it into clothing people wear. I want to find a way to put art into my daily life maybe not by going to college for it but just having it there to have something to do.
